- Tired of typing in your password every time you sign onto America Online?
- Use the Stored Passwords feature to make signing on faster and easier.
-
- To save your password(s), choose "Edit Stored Passwords" from the Members
- menu, which will bring the dialog box up that you see here. There will be a
- line for each of your screen names, up to the maximum of five, and each name
- can have its options set independently.
-
- To allow FlashSessions (automatic mail sending and retrieval) to run without
- entering a password, click the "FlashSessions" checkbox on the left. To allow
- signing onto AOL directly without requiring a password, click the "Signon"
- checkbox on the right. To allow both options, simply click both checkboxes.
-
- Once those options are set, type your password into the "Password" box for
- the screen name(s) you're editing.
-
- Click "OK," and you're done. Now when you want to sign on or activate a
- FlashSession for one of these screen names for which you've stored a
- password, the password box won't even show!
